When is the Best Time to Get a Dysport Touch-Up?

When it comes to Dysport treatments, most experts recommend waiting at least 90 days between sessions for the neurotoxin to completely leave the body before reintroducing treatment. You'll notice that your muscles begin to relax almost immediately after the injection, but it usually takes 3 to 5 days for target wrinkles to completely smooth out. The effects of Dysport typically last 4 to 6 months, so it's best to receive treatments every 3 or 4 months in order to maintain the desired results. Some of our patients find that they are satisfied with the injections every 6 months. How often you choose to undergo Dysport treatments will depend on the severity of your lines and wrinkles, as well as your aesthetic goals.

Studies suggest that Dysport is 90 percent effective once injected and may have more immediate effects than Botox. Madison Dysport is an injectable neurotoxin designed to correct wrinkles on the forehead, eyebrows and the lines of the glabella (the area between the eyebrows). Jeuveau and Dysport are also neuromodulators and use the same mechanism of action as Botox to reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles; however, because they are formulated differently, Botox, Jeuveau and Dysport vary slightly in terms of dosage, the amount they spread once injected and how quickly they provide results. Madison Dysport is more diluted than Botox, which means you'll receive more units during treatment. Madison Dysport has a more diluted formula than other injectable neuromodulators, giving it a more subtle and natural effect.
